Resumes By Anne is the creation of Anne Simmons and officially opened in August of 2013. After initially choosing a career in journalism, Anne spent several years interning and freelancing among newspapers, magazines, and other publications throughout Virginia. A position as a professional resume writer altered her path and she has spent the last decade crafting innovative, modern resume packages for people in diverse industries. Her unique perspective on layout, design, and content, has progressed over the years to reflect an ever-changing industry. Resumes By Anne supports local business and collaborates with regional recruiters, staffing agencies, and HR professionals to facilitate job placement and provide resources.

Born and raised in the Roanoke Valley, Anne attended Christopher Newport University in Hampton Roads and now lives happily in Richmond with her boyfriend. When she's not writing, you'll find her in the garden or cruising the Parkway on two wheels.
