On Friday evening 4/29, the SBA announced that the EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loan) program is ending. This program started in March of 2020. Here are the key dates and info to know:
• Reconsiderations or requests for loan increases must be submitted on or before May 6th
• The COVID EIDL portal will shut down on May 16th. Therefore, borrowers should download loan documents prior to that date

Please make sure you login and save a copy of your loan documents for any EIDL's you received. The web portal will not be available after May 16th and it won't be easy to contact the SBA if you don't have your loan documents.
